About the crazy.....

My photo
GA, United States
Just a southern gal from Georgia who has a real problem with baking. And by problem I mean, I can't help myself! :D I am married to the love of my life, he puts up with me so well! I am mother to the most adorable, yet tough little boy. And mother to a most beautiful full of attitude, little girl. I can't forget about our 4-legged family members! Our terrier Lucy, Our Great Dane Milo, our mutty mutt Ellie and our cats Abbey and Sammy! I LOVE to bake and I am trying to start up my own cupcakery. I love vintage anything! My blog started out as a blog for my cupcakes, now it has turned into an everyday into the life of "ME" blog. Life is not perfect and wonderful all the time, you will hear me gripe, bahahaha, it isn't all cupcakes. Just a heads up per say. :D Hope your reading experience is enjoyable! And please be sure to comment, follow, and grab my button!

HAPPY 2012!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I hope evryone's 2012 is starting off right. Get those resolutions moving and jiving. I have a few, but one is to start another blog. I know what you're thinking.... "Another blog?!! She can't even post on THIS one!"

And, your right. LOL. But I feel like I am limited to what I can post on here, since it is technically for my business. So, I am creating another blog and linking the two together. This one for Kuppy Kakes (which will be updated weekly if not daily- another resolution) and then one for everyday life of kuppy. Not sure what I will call it yet, any suggestions?

So, now that that is covered, what are soem of YOUR resolutions for the new year?

Right now, im cooking my family, some collards and black eyed peas!
Need all the luck I can get this year.

:D

We celebrated last night at a friends house, which we exited soon after, can't go into the deets.

And then we went home, read a couple of books and headed to our town's celebration. The 2012 Villa Rica Gold Nugget Drop. Sounds tantalizing, huh?! ;) Here's a pic of the actual gold nugget:

Well, we had our countdown, and then the huge "nugget" dropped. The fireworks were being set off and the band was kicking. My kids were so ready to "drop" themselves after all of the fun. So we headed home and got all warm and snuggly and konked out. I wish I would have taken pictures, but I couldn't find my stinkin' camera and my hands were too warm in my gloves to try it with my phone. :)

Have a wonderful New Year's, Be safe, Eat well, and Pray often!
You know, it doesn't have to be Thanksgiving to give and show thanks for the people and things in our lives.

HAPPY 2012!!!

I love having my two blogs, and I put Pound of Cake on my cards, I just need to find a way to get hard core followers!

I am making a resolution to make at least 1 cake/cake decorating element/practice with a new technique every 2 weeks.

When I told the hubster that he he just held his tummy and said "more cake?!"

Can't wait for the new blog to roll out.. if I get 50 followers on either one of mine I will pay for a nice layout.. but until then.... :/

No ideas on the name yet.. I'll try to turn my brain on :o)

LOL Kim. I know, whenever we go to a birthday party with cupcakes, my kids are like "no thank you". They are sooo tired of cupcakes. hahaha. Well, I only have 206 followers here, but it would be more if I posted more and continued doing the tuesday-tag-alongs and all. I need to get more involved. Which I plan on, getting my schedule straight and then making time for my blogs and all. And of course, all of that aroudn my kids. lol.
